Procurement / Buyer - Engineering
|
Buyer / Procurement / Purchaser with SC (Security Clearance) for a leading company in Northants. You will have experience controlling a number of multi £M Software subcontracts, in particular to drive formal plans hard at the subcontractors to ensure on-time on-cost and on quality delivery across all contracts. Where issues cannot be resolved locally, escalate priority calls and urgent requirements quickly to the Technical Subcontracts Manager. The area of experience required is defence electronics.
The Engineer shall be nominally be based in Basingstoke, central to the subcontractors. You must be professionally qualified with a technical background in the Space & Defence/Aerospace bespoke software development subcontracts and their integration into systems. A BSc in Engineering, Chartered Engineer is a plus. Any experience of S/W interfacing with HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM, radio equipment and associated network infrastructures a plus.
